At Survivors Journey to Peace, capacity building is at the heart of strengthening our mission and expanding our impact. We focus on developing the skills, systems, and resources needed to deliver high-quality, sustainable support to survivors of trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Through staff and volunteer training, leadership development, program enhancement, and strategic partnerships—including our NGO in Ghana—we build a strong foundation that allows our organization to grow and serve more communities effectively. By investing in capacity building, we ensure long-term sustainability, improved service delivery, and greater healing, empowerment, and transformation for every survivor we reach.
Education
Transforming Lives
At Survivors Journey to Peace, education is a cornerstone of healing, empowerment, and long-term transformation. We believe that when survivors are equipped with knowledge and practical life skills, they gain the confidence and clarity needed to rebuild their lives and move forward with purpose. Our educational programs include healing workshops, structured training sessions, mentorship opportunities, and community-based learning initiatives designed to support emotional, spiritual, and personal growth. We address critical topics such as trauma recovery, emotional wellness, healthy relationships, self-esteem building, conflict resolution, financial literacy, leadership development, and personal empowerment.
Through both local and global efforts—including our partnership with an NGO in Ghana—we extend educational resources to underserved communities, ensuring that survivors everywhere have access to tools that promote healing and independence. Our goal is not only to support recovery, but to create pathways for growth, stability, and long-term success. By fostering education, we help individuals break cycles of trauma, build resilience, and step confidently into a future filled with hope, dignity, and lasting peace.

The Ghana Agriprenuership Program GARDEN OF HOPE INITIATIVE work is people-centered, focusing on projects that meet basic needs - such as food, energy, clean water and sanitation, healthcare and education – with the aim of encouraging self-reliance and inspiring hope for the future.
GROW Agripreneurship Program is a hands-on interactive tool used to improve food security, raise incomes and reduce rural poverty as well as improving the livelihoods of women, small farmers and, in particular, rural young people.
